Facials and Peels

Acne Peel

Acne appears when the tiny pores (connected with hair follicle) on our skin get clogged with dead skin cells and excess oil.

Sometimes, these pores make room for bacteria to grow which can make the acne worse. And as an acne subsides, it leaves behind a hard to remove deep scar.

This is where an acne peel comes to your rescue. Acne peel treatment makes use of different ingredients which open clogged pores, remove excess oil and dead skin cells. The ingredients as used depend on your skin type.

Why choose an Acne Peel

  • Removes dead skin cells
  • Encourages new skin cell formation
  • Exfoliates & cleanses the skin
  • Smoothens the texture
  • Quick and effective

What to expect during the treatment

The aesthetician first cleanses your face so as to remove any dirt. A solution is then applied on the face consisting of the ingredients as chosen for your skin type. The solution is kept on your face for nearly 20 minutes which causes the skin to swell up and peel over a period of several days.

As the dead skin cells come off, new skin replaces it. This exfoliation even reduces acne scars and blemishes.

Results of an acne peel would depend on the ingredient type as used in the solution. You will notice considerable changes over a week. The results will keep on enhancing over the treatment course and keep your skin acne free for long. (Every patient is a unique individual and every surgery has unique aspects. Therefore no two procedures or rejuvenation treatments will get the exact same results. Individual results vary from patient to patient.)

To maintain the results, you must have regular acne facial sessions as recommended by your aesthetician. If your acne is severe, you may be advised to have monthly sessions of acne facial.
